I am a licensed physician and specialist in neurology with a doctorate from Lund University (Sweden). I completed both my specialist training and my doctoral research at the Neurology Clinic of Skåne University Hospital (SUS) in Malmö/Lund.

The focus of my doctoral dissertation was on advanced neuroimaging in neuropsychiatric lupus; I also maintain a strong clinical and scientific interest in neuroinflammatory processes. My research has included studies on cerebral connectivity, white matter alterations, and imaging biomarkers in systemic autoimmune diseases, resulting in several peer-reviewed publications and international conference presentations.

International perspective

Until 2018, I worked at the Neurology Clinic of SUS Malmö/Lund. I then continued my clinical work at Clínica Juaneda in Palma de Mallorca, gaining experience in an international medical environment. Since 2020, I have been working independently, focusing on patient-centered neurological care.

Clinically, I treat a broad spectrum of neurological disorders, including headache disorders and complex or unclear clinical presentations. I possess a comprehensive medical perspective, which I consider valuable when assessing patients with multifactorial symptoms. 

My professional motivation

What motivates me in my work is the combination of careful clinical judgment and a genuine interest in each patient's individual story. I am particularly motivated in complex cases or when symptoms are not immediately explainable; in these situations, I place great importance on taking the time to grasp the complete picture.

I approach each case with curiosity and structure, aiming to identify underlying patterns and support patients throughout the entire diagnostic and treatment process. My approach is based on scientific evidence, complemented by clinical experience, and I place great emphasis on clear communication, trust, and continuity of care. 

Perspective on the Las Almas Institute

I view the Las Almas Institute as an inspiring and forward-looking initiative that combines clinical expertise with a truly holistic and individualized approach to healthcare. Its focus on interdisciplinary collaboration and viewing the patient as a whole person aligns perfectly with my own understanding of good medical practice.

Furthermore, I greatly appreciate that the institute combines both pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment strategies that reflect the current state of modern care. This balanced and integrative approach demonstrates high clinical standards and thoughtful innovation in patient care – aspects that I find both meaningful and motivating.
