-
depression
You lack motivation, sleep is poor, even small tasks take effort. We will first review your medical records and ask about any treatments you have already undergone.
-
Anxiety disorders
Worries and anxiety dominate everyday life. We will discuss with you whether treatment with us is the right setting.
-
Obsessive-compulsive disorder
Recurring thoughts or actions cost time and energy. We will discuss with you what kind of support is available.
-
Post-traumatic stress disorder
Stressful experiences have a lasting effect, and the body cannot find rest. We will discuss with you what steps are advisable and in what order.
-
Exhaustion and burnout
The exhaustion persists, and concentration wanes. We will carefully assess this before proposing a plan.
-
Sleep disorders
They have trouble falling asleep or wake up during the night, and lack energy during the day. First, we'll determine the cause.
Treatment
Procedures that may be part of your treatment
We will compile your treatment plan from the procedures that are suitable for you. This takes into account the doctor's assessment, your wishes, and what is possible at the respective location.
-
Psychotherapeutic support
The sessions will focus on your story, difficult experiences, and your daily life. With your therapist, you will understand connections and try out changes.
-
rTMS, magnetic stimulation
Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation, or rTMS for short, delivers magnetic impulses to specific brain regions. You will be awake during the procedure. We will first determine if the procedure is suitable for you. We will discuss possible side effects and the procedure itself with you.
The National Care Guideline for Unipolar Depression (2022) recommends rTMS for treatment-resistant depressive episodes. It rates the available research as very low to moderate, depending on the specific method.
-
Neurofeedback and biofeedback
Sensors measure brain activity, heart rate, respiration, and muscle tension. On the screen, you see what your body is doing and practice influencing it. A specialist guides you through the exercises.
-
Ketamine-assisted treatment
For selected patients, the doctor will assess whether treatment with ketamine is appropriate. Ketamine is approved as an anesthetic. Its use for depression is considered off-label and is administered under medical supervision. Before you make a decision, we will inform you about the active ingredient, its application, benefits, risks, and alternatives. This treatment is not included in every program.
-
Integrative body therapy
Mindful body awareness, breathing and movement exercises, accompanied by psychotherapeutic work.
-
Hypnagogic light experience
A relaxation technique. You lie with your eyes closed in front of a light source, while music plays.
-
Support from home
Following in-person treatment, we offer video support. We will discuss the frequency and format of these sessions with you.
The program
What is Hybrid Intensive Care Therapy?
Hybrid Intensive Therapy, or HIT for short, is Las Almas' outpatient program. You will receive medical and psychotherapeutic appointments within a personalized treatment plan. The specific procedures included and the frequency of appointments depend on your diagnosis, your previous therapies, and your current resilience.
Outpatient treatment means you come to the institute for your appointments and sleep elsewhere, at home or in accommodation. A hospital stay is not necessary. Your doctor will determine beforehand whether this is suitable for you.
In addition to the program, you can also book individual treatments or multiple appointments as a package at Las Almas. We will determine which treatment is right for you during the initial consultation and assessment. We will discuss the scope and costs with you before you book.
Before you decide, we will explain which procedures we recommend and why. Benefits, risks, and alternatives are all part of this decision. No one can guarantee a specific treatment outcome, including us.
