Psychotherapist / Psychoanalyst
Nationality: Italian
Languages: Italian/English/German/French/Spanish
Alessandra Anna Maria Toni, MSc, PhD, studied psychology and neuroscience in Rome and Milan and is currently training in psychodynamic psychotherapy. She has also completed postgraduate training in forensic psychopathology in a family context and in group dynamics with imaginative experiential approaches.
She worked in an Italian clinical setting in the field of neuropsychology, where she gained experience in cognitive diagnostics and in understanding neuropsychological and emotional processes. Her clinical approach combines psychodynamic theory with a particular focus on relational processes, identity development, and emotion regulation.
She holds a doctorate in foreign languages and also works as a pianist and composer. The integration of musical elements into her professional background shapes her sensitivity to emotional expression and enables her to incorporate creative and musical aspects – when appropriate – into the therapeutic context.
She works with adults and young adults in an international environment.
