Dr. Myriam Sarny, MSc, is a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapeutic medicine as well as a general practitioner. Her professional experience encompasses a broad spectrum of psychiatric care – from acute psychiatry and inpatient rehabilitation settings to outpatient care and her work in private practice. For many years, she worked as a senior consultant at the Anton Proksch Institute, one of the largest addiction clinics in Europe, and most recently as head of department (Primaria), leading a department specializing in medication and alcohol addiction.

She holds a Master's degree in Psychotherapeutic Medicine with a focus on Integrative Therapy from Danube University Krems and diplomas in psychosocial and psychosomatic medicine. Her training and several years of experience in occupational medicine have sharpened her focus on mental health in the workplace and prevention. Additionally, her qualification as a yoga teacher supports therapeutic processes that facilitate access to inner regulation and relaxation through the body.
